and p.s.
links have been updated.
'words' section has been removed... it was dumb.

15 January 2010-

Because of annoying spam, and stupid people who feel the need to write in about how ugly or stupid I am, I'm deleting the guestbook from the site. If you need to reach me for some reason, feel free to use the links in the contact me section. I'm also going to be disabling comments on photos. Blog posts will still be available for comments, but that will be the only area of the site.

Thanks for your understanding-

I've added some new links to the website.
First, to Steve Craig- he makes some really interesting and beautiful collages. I'd recommend everyone check them out.

New Page!

I have recently decided to give more focus and energy to creative writing. Because of this I've created a new page on the site where I will be, from time to time, posting various pieces of poetry and/or fiction. Hopefully this will be a welcome addition to all.

Featured

Hello!

I was featured on the Sunday 7 September edition of The Style Council on LuLu's Vintage blog!
It's a little interview with me about fashion and my vintage loves.

Check it out!!!

New York

I've been given an acceptance to Brooklyn College (part of The City University on New York), and will be heading to The Big Apple in december or january. I deferred my entry until the second semester so I would have time to plan my move. I'm really looking forward to being out on my own! (And to finishing my degree in one of my favourite cities!)

Back in the states- updates!

Being back from my month long educational holiday at The Royal Academy of  Dramatic Art in London, I've started in on a few updates for the site. First off, I've updated my resume, which has really been needing a bit of a revamp. And within the next couple of days there will be some photos from London up in the gallery.

Enjoy!
-natalie

Photos and the UK

There are some new photos in the gallery, as well as a new headshot up. I finally got around to replacing my old headshot, I've needed to for a while, ever since I dyed my hair blond last month.

Also, I have less than one month until I jetset off to London for a bit of Shakespeare training! There will be some pictures of my trip up (hopefully) pretty quickly after I get back. I'll keep you posted.

videos

Hello all!
Finally have a video section up for your enjoyment. Currently playing is the official trailer for Full Circle. The film is, as far as I know, still in post production. Post has been an unusually slow process due to changes in the production company's leadership. Check out the trailer and I'll let you know as soon as the film is finished!

more updates

I'm going through the site again making updates and such. Finally the domain is up, www.natalie-raymond.com should take you to the site within the next twenty four hours. This means no more having to type out www.freewebs.com/natalieraymond to get here! Hurrah!

Also, there should be a bit of just general clean up happening around here, once we get through all this, the site should be totally functional. We're finally almost done editing!

RADA

This summer, between 15 July and 8 August, I will be in London doing the RADA summer short course Shakespeare intensive. I'm looking forward to getting a taste of the English acting school experience, and also hopefully developing some hard core Shakespeare skills. After the summer course is over I'll be temporarily back in Oregon, while I decide if I should continue to pursue film or theatre. I want to focus in film I think, but since nothing can really be done until I'm back, I'll have to wait it out.

-natalie

Guildhall

My guildhall audition is on friday at 2h. I'm heading out to NYC tomorrow morning, bright and early.
Wish me luck!

trips

I'm going to be in wonderful NYC from 2 March until 8 March 2008! I'm auditioning for the RADA, so wish me tons of luck!

I'm looking forward to going to The Met, MoMA, and The Shakespeare Garden (my favourite place in the city). And of course I'm looking forward to my audition!
I'm staying in Chelsea again, and I can't wait to get there! It'll be so nice to have some time to just be.

Then from 15 March to 24 March I'll be back in Portland. It's a very short trip so I'm making family a priority. But hopefully I'll be able to see some old friends!

-Natalie

More:
I have been super busy of late, and haven't been able to get as much on the site up and running as I would have liked. Hopefully once Twelfth Night gets on it's feet, and Loyola's spring break is over I'll be able to spend more time making the site even more awesome! Thanks for bearing with me.

more revamps

the site is being overhauled a bit again.
I want it to be better, more interesting....less.....less like a myspace page.

Keep your eyes open.

The renovations the site has been slowly undergoing are going to be postponed for a little bit. There's been a computer failure. They'll hopefully be happening again in the next week or two. Thanks for being patient!
